return to the Newark Library! Starting this Friday, September 3rd, Toddler Time and Preschool Storytime resume. Toddler Time is a four week class for a toddler and a parent where we share stories, fingerplays and songs and help our little ones learn how to interact with books and with other children. Preschool Storytime is for children ages 3-5 years of age (although younger ones may join us if they can sit and listen) and runs from 11:30 am – 12 pm. We read stories, do action ryhmes and fingerplays, and sometimes do a craft.

To ensure everyone has a good storytime experience, we have a few basic Storytime rules:

Cell phones should be off during programs.

Please refrain from having personal discussions during programs.

Parents need to remain in the library while programs are going on.

If a child begins to cry or cannot sit for th program, we understand. Please take your child outside and you may return later in the program or the following week.

Thank you for your consideration.
