Finding you have nothing but homework to do? Old enough to draw an outline of your hand and use scissors? Well, take a break on Saturday, November 19th at 3 p.m. and we’ll show you how to decorate your own Thanksgiving Turkey.

Before you do that, come to the Newark Library this Saturday, November 12th  at 3 p.m. and learn to do sculpting with tools and clay just like the grown-ups do. This workshop is just for kids though. You’ll be able to make your own—anything! Just imagine it!

Mrs. Christie Inocencio will be here to show you how it all stacks up

Poetry – the big Newark Library Open Mic Nite is coming soon. Bring what you’ve written and share it with a larger community. We get lots of variety and all of it is well-received at Open Mic Nite. We will host this teen event next Tuesday night, 11/15/11 at 7 p.m. in the Meeting Room. Please contact Kathleen Hannon at 510-795-2627 x 18 or email her at khannon@aclibrary.org  if you have any questions.
