This half hour is from 10:30-11 a.m. on Fridays and there are toys for children 18 months to 4 years old to play with. The time is for moms and dads to socialize and watch over their children as they play with our toys. On third Fridays this time is replaced by Toddler Art and can be enjoyed by most children under 4 who have some skills with crayons and/or scissors.

Preschool Storytime is for children 3 years old to Kindergarten and will start on September 2nd at 11 a.m.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2011 we will be restarting Toddler Time for 18-36 month old children and their parent(s).
Teen DJs out 2 hav sum fun! At the Newark Library on Saturday, August 13th at 3 p.m.
No registration necessary, come early to get a good seat.
All library events, free to you, are funded by the Newark Library League.

It’s never a dull moment around here. Tomorrow, Thursday, August 4 from 10:30-12:30 we are having our annual carnival! We have no rides but lots of games to play and prizes to win!
And don’t forget our Saturday happenings! At 3:00 p.m. this Saturday we will be hosting the Pat in the Hat balloon show. I’ve even seen him wrap up a balloon car to drive himself around in. Let him make a balloon especially for you!
