We had a Spiderwick Chronicles party and now we’ve won a free screening of the movie at Cinemark Union Landing. Now we’ve got 300 tickets to give away and we’d love to give you some. Consider joining the local 4-H club! Our local 4-H club is called Bayside 4-H (serving Newark, Fremont and Union City) and they meet the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Maloney School.
The 4-H program offers a variety of events and activities designed to instruct and engage youth (ages 6-19), such as photography, marksmanship, raising animals, etc. 4-H members also prepare exhibits for the Alameda County Fair.
“The program’s goals are to help youth develop into responsible and productive adults through the development and support of leadership, teams of staff, volunteers, youth and adults who organize educational project experiences in community or family settings.”
